Ya! But as much as Carla and I hoped and prayed and hoped some more, we didn't see much wildlife. Well, I shouldn't say that! We did see some amazing animals! But we were really hoping for a bear and "kitty" sighting at some point. But like I told Carla, it's probably better that we didn't (and God knew that) because with as easily as we freaked ourselves out while hiking in the woods, we would have wet ourselves for sure! :)
The amazing Badlands. The reason it's called this is because of the first "white people" who found this area thought "Geesh. It's so dry and desolate here that there's nothing good we can get from it. Not even any hunting!" BUT the Natives who were here first considered it a land of wealth, full of hunting! (yeah, side note: for those of us Americans who think "people should learn English if they're going to live here" and etc. etc.- Why didn't we learn the Native's language when we moved in on their land?) :)
This walkway only goes out to here and then you're on your own. Don't forget water! :)
 So COOL!

And then, just as quick as the tall, jagged, dry lands appeared, we then moved into these colorful mounds of beauty! Just so cool!
